The rules for using the Nega marketplace.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Nega, you agree to these Terms of
Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree,
please do not use the platform.
2. Marketplace rules
- List only accurate items with truthful descriptions and real prices
- Sellers must deliver items as described once a sale is agreed
- Prohibited items: weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods,
stolen goods, adult content, and financial fraud schemes
3. Secure payment
- How it works: the buyer's payment is held securely by Nega
and is not released to the seller immediately
- When funds are released: after the buyer confirms delivery,
or automatically 48 hours after delivery if no dispute is raised
- Disputes: if something goes wrong, either party may open a
dispute and a Nega mediator will review the evidence and decide the outcome
- Service fee: Nega charges a 3.5% service fee per protected
transaction, deducted from the amount the seller receives
4. User accounts
- One account per person
- You must provide accurate and current information
- Certain features (such as secure payments) require identity verification
5. Prohibited conduct
- No fake or misleading listings
- No price manipulation or bid manipulation
- No harassment or abusive behaviour in chat
- No attempts to circumvent Nega's payment system
6. Liability limitations
Nega provides the marketplace platform "as is". To the maximum extent
permitted by law, Nega is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential
damages arising from your use of the platform or from transactions between users.
Nega is a facilitator and is not the buyer or seller in any transaction.
7. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic
of Ethiopia, and any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the
competent courts of Ethiopia.
